merry christmas eve :o )

insanely busy semester just passed, now time to enjoy my senior year!

things to do/goals for next semester: hang out with people not named jason, hang out with jason, try to develop a tolerance for more than 1.75 shots, do yoga more often, cook more, bake more, vacuum more, be more involved with akpsi/vsa, mentor a youngun, keep in touch with mb friends, keep in touch with my cousins, visit bucknell, call my mom every other day. yay. more to be added later.  what can i say, im ambitious.

so finally decided that i'll be in D.C. next semester, doing real estate private equity.  it was tough choosing between the job and nyc, but i made the decision to be mature and go for the best job experience.  besides, did anyone really ever see me doing banking?  i don't think so.  anyhow,  excited to know that some of my hometown buddies will be there, so i won't be a total hermit.  im thinking of living in alexandria, va, which is supposedly where a ton of young people live.  plus its a lot cheaper than the city, which i thought would be less expensive than ny, but apparently not.  the funny thing is that even when i began this process (job-hunting that is) i knew from the very start that i would end up somewhere away from everyone else.  once again, my life has taken a most random path.  im happy that i'll be in D.C. though; after going to NY 12209238454 times in the past few months, i realized im definitely not a city girl at heart.  give me suburbia any day.  and i get to drive a car. sweet : )

enjoying break immensely.  YUM food. like unbelievably yum food. no use trying to eat healthy over here..its futile in the face of carne asada tacos with extra guac from el tarasco, fried springrolls from favori, lee's sandwiches, homemade noodle soups and stews, boxes of chocolates lying around the house.  sleeping in. reading to my hearts content.  hangin out with the fam (always a fun time), shopping like a maniac.  (new buys so far: a scarf and a few hats from A/X, stephane marais makeup, yoga clothes...and this was in the process of buying presents for others). doing bikram (hot yoga).   new haircut..its SHORT. like above the shoulders short. ooH and i opened up one of my presents that came in the mail today : ) my baby got me some very adorable burberry earmuffs and gloves.  great choices hehe . and wednesday will be going on a 5-day boarding trip to tahoe.  30+ people. 3 bedroom cabin.  it will be ridic. woot woot. maybe this time i'll actually learn how to carve : P i prefer the falling leaf move though.

OK TOTALLY LATE, but pictures from spring break : ) 

for the first couple of days, my brother came to philly to interview at drexel med school, and i found out he got in yesterday!!! yaaaay!!! so he'll be in philly with me next year.  so happy and excited for him.  : )  so yea he was here, and his best friend (and one of my good friends) vu was here from nyc (he goes to nyu dental).
